xyHt blog post coordination #95

I think this is a great idea! What suggestions do we have for how to coordinate this?

Hi Beth and Charley,

Thank you for the wonderful article about maptime. A bunch of geomatics students at a recent event were raving about it. We're going to plan for students from two geomatics programs up here to attend maptime sessions (I'll get in touch with the maptime folks up here in Seattle).

xyHt would really like to continue to cover and support maptime; this really strikes a chord with us. One of the reasons why we launched xyHt (from the old format of 3 decade old surveying publication) was to breath some life into some of the stodgy elements of the geo professions; and so far it is working :)

If we can provide a platform for maptime, some blog space, fairly regular content, promoting - think big - let me know

If I could parody a Bill Murray line from "Lost in Translation": "For those special times, make it Maptime"...

Great news! Katie Kowalsky is going to write about the Summit. From there, we need to either assign Chapters to do it, or to have people sign up. Or a little of both. Not sure what the best way to manage this is...but excited :)
