@migurski do you think this is better?

thoughts: it's nice that it exposes the popular extracts more, although now I feel like the information on the page is kind of disjointed. lots of darting my eyes around. it also becomes much more unintuitive to clear the search in this layout.

[ ] Wait to see if https://github.com/mapzen/data-pages/pull/201 makes this unnecessary.
