Which device have you been using, and what do you mean by "crash"?
It's always been on IOS. After a while the screen always went black and nothing happened anymore. When trying to open the app again either nothing happened at all or only the Marble logo appeared as if the app was loading but then the screen went completely black again. Even after waiting a while it wouldn't open again and only the black screen appeared.
This is very strange. I'm developing on iOS all day and never saw something like that. What device was it? And what happened if you closed and restarted the app completely? Can you maybe create a screen recording once this happens again?
It's been on iPhone 7 and iPhone 10. The testers have tried to close and restart the app multiple times, also tried it again the next days but still, all they get is a black screen. In the very end of this screen recording you can already see it, but I'll try to capture it again! https://we.tl/t-SfrSfP6vcZ
Thanks for the video. This was helpful.
If I understand it correctly
Regarding the "Marble crashed" message: This occurs quite often if running the app from TestFlight. I never found out why this happens, as I don't get any debugging data, even if you "share" it. But these crashes fortunately don't happen if you open the app from the regular app store. I found quite a number of people reporting the same problem with TestFlight builds. The thing that puzzles me is that these "crash messages" typically appear after you close the app regularly. In the video it seems as if the message came right after the restart. It may be from the first crash, but I am not sure.
I will try to test the same sequence and see what happens on my iPhone X. It's one of my main testing devices anyways. Hope I can reproduce that.
For point 3: When it showed the Marble logo after opening the app again, it seemed as if it was loading the app, but then even the logo disappeared and only a black screen was left.
Ok, thanks for the clarification.
Every time when I tested the app for a longer time, it crashed at the end and the user was not able to start it again for a while. In one testing session with a friend on Sunday it crashed after switching from wifi to mobile data and still doesn't start.
