"Forgot password" email never showed up #25

Email was never in his normal inbox or spam, tried to recreate his account with the same username but couldn't because it was already taken (thought that his account maybe didn't register in our system, which is why he didn't get an email). Google pixel phone

Tested the password reset on multiple devices. All worked. It might take a couple of minutes, until the reset mail appears in your inbox, though. If you tell me his username and email address via PM, I can check if they are in the database.
