While I appreciate the idea (and myself use emoji in shell prompts and such), the last thing I want when using this script on a potentially outdated or unknown system is for a subtle unicode/character width/non-BMP/etc related SNAFU to break some command line editing resulting in a problem with no recovery (since this script is, by design, intended to be used in delicate situations with possibly no way out in case of a misstep) ;-)
