Three groups:

1. dba
2. edit
3. markup

(plus maybe "guest")

In addition will there be a group for each event type?

This is quite a lot of work - maybe 1 day...

Is it really Critical?

Now disable certain functionality according to the user's permissions (group
membership): dba, text, markup
