This should exist such that all that has to be done is run a unit test command from the root directory and it will run to pass tests.

Due to new repo organization, the tests will be run from the PYTHON folder. There should be two styles of unit tests.

unit testing of all auxiliary functions whose outcomes are definite and certain (e.g. everything in utils.py)
special unit tests of probabilistic model output
