All previous work has been merged together with quality-of-life improvements added, as detailed in PR #61.

The working-paper branch is to, as it suggests, turn the outline into an actual working paper, including:

Drafting the "topological coverage" argument, if deemed still relevant.
Detailing what we have put into code: the clever randomization, how we estimate the conjoint ensemble, and computing predictive fit.
