ftp transfer corruption #263

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. get 2mb like files with md5 sums put them in disk on nas
2. try to access the files via ftp with outside ip
3. dowlonad files and check md5s

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

-files shall not get corrupted so annoying :( i get them broken all the time

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

snakeos-V1.3.2-20111019 but doesn't matter i tried earlier other versions also

Please provide any additional information below.

snakeos nas is connected to adsl router directly, everything works just fine
except ftp server, small files are ok but bigger than 2mb always getting
corrupted... i can get the files correctly with sftp but ftp is trouble. tried
all i can think of changed ftp ports, dmz host on nas and such no solution yet.
i really want to access the files with ftp correctly from outside of my home
and share files with ppl but the corruption is so frustrating i need help..

thanks in advance
happy new year..

Probably related to this bug:
http://code.google.com/p/snake-os/issues/detail?id=191
I haven't been able to reproduce it.

Wild guess, maybe this could help?
