for me it is not on preview as well as alpha maybe due to not being responsive, also quick review as a user if im writing notes i have to lose my focus completely just to expand the sidebar, area to click expand or close is too small for me i have to look carefully just to do that, i don't want to waste my brain cells on opening a sidebar.

just noticed this now, if i'm in inbox and today want to go to notes> it's not a click, i have to look for the arrow expand the spaces and go to notes. or else i have to keep it expanded which on refresh it will go away as the default it not expanded.

here is what i think how to fix it—
[X] for collapsed sidebar: get rid of the arrow— for first time new user( who has not visited any space yet) , the click on the space should expand and show the spaces> user can go to space. now once they visit a space, every time clicking on the space icon > takes to the last visited space and expands the sidebar as well.
[X] for expanded sidebar: the default is expanded spaces. > once click go to anywhere.
[X] on addition to it, to fix the collapsing icon, it can be same size or a different icon on top right of profile which is bigger than the arrow to do collapse/expand.
