The macOS app icons are a rounded rectangle after Monterey, as shown in the figure below: geotag

Why so they are! I'll fix that before the next release once I figure out the appropriate size and corner radius. I see that the GeoTag icon is a bit bigger than others, too.

The new icon is in the newmaps branch which will be merged into main prior to the next release. Thanks for pointing out the error.
