Guten Tag, @marcj! (And, I've forgotten almost all the rest of my German learned 20 years ago. :-)
I teach software development for The Iron Yard under the account @tiy-curtissimo. The Iron Yard is unique in that they encourage their instructors to take on and maintain FOSS, one of the reasons I decided to accept their offer.
I've been teaching a lot of Angular 2 courses, lately, and have integrated Local Storage into the shorter curricula so we don't need a middle-tier and database just to make fun Web apps from which to learn Angular 2.
I just searched NPM for a nice Local Storage solution and found this repository. I'd like to take over ownership, if you'd still like, so I can do two things with it:
Show early in learning how to use an external Angular 2 resource;
Make using Local Storage dead simple; and,
Use it as an instructive tool to teach how to author decorators.
As you can see from my different accounts and organizations, I'm no stranger to creating and maintaining FOSS across a variety of languages: @tiy-curtissimo, @realistschuckle, @curtissimo, @polyvox, and @tiy-bcbs-201611.
If this appeals to you, please feel free to reply to me. Irrespective of your decision, I'm going to angular2-localstorage in a couple of weeks in a class I'm teaching. So, thanks for this work!
