The excel template file is a little behind on the Power BI template file. This is known and will be fixed in the future.

Currently missing in the Excel template:

Row Level Security roles and expressions.

Model Documenter v2.0.0 has just been released. Please check this page to get the latest version. As of Model Documenter v2.0.0, the Excel format has been discontinued. I encourage you to start using the Power BI template format. Also see pull request #21
