how to describe the current date #10

for dates described in the metadata, how do we indicate "to today"? This is more for how to do it in the googlesheet than the json, tho that is also a need2know. I have used "2017-01-01s to current" for now in the example googlesheet (see link in README for this repo)

And another thing - do we want to add "frequency" also? with drop-down for daily, weekly, monthly, multi-monthly, yearly?

for the current date: just leave blank For the frequency etc: I withdraw that question
