On the tail of this week's GOOS BioEco Panel Meeting, it was agreed that MBO will assist the panel in mapping the flow of information/data from the various subvariables which contribute to each EOV with greater semantic clarify, such that we can build more atomised and robust data flows.
The Coral and Phytoplankton EOVs are likely starting points, and the Seagrass EOV has an advanced schema that can be processed too.
Key to this is figuring out how to embed DwC (meta)data into the ODIS EOV template, including porting the EMoF content into propertyValues with semantic qualification.
For MBO - this will ensure that the metadata we push to OBIS/ODIS is in line with the EOV process in a real sense.
