Search header issues, display issues

When I use the search header in the bootstrap template, this doesn't seem to fire at all. (Maybe it does and it's offscreen? Not sure.)

When I use it from the search sidebox, the results come out quite a bit below the search box. See image.

Thoughts?

Just realized that this is a terrible workaround that introduced other visual issues. This will be fixed in a much better way on v2.
