Data is specified by months (cmf-dateformat = MM/yyyy)

The date range is displayed as "01/01/1913 - 07/01/2008"

But there's no day-level detail.  It should show "01/1913 - 07/2008".

Resolved in r665.  Date ranges are now formatted to the granularity of the data 
points within the datasets.  See 
attached screenshot.  The top plot contains monthly data and the bottom plot 
contains annual data.
