I'm a little late in commenting on this, but was there a specific reason for re-naming this? On the one hand, it's nicer to be more explicit about what exactly useBackend is doing, but on the other naming it useUserDetails obscures the fact that we are accessing the backend, therefore being (potentially) confusing
