IE complains about comma in Messi.prototype, also close button issue #4

IE complains about the comma after the last parameter to Messi.prototype at Line 202. Also the close button remains permanently in position without displaying an X.

Version of IE used was 8.0.6001.18702

Sorry, no support for IE 8.
