How do I save my town when Im done the edit? #84

I see a save button then replace the Garden.dat file with the edited one then I load up the town then the edits I made were not there anymore, please help me.

maybe it has something to do with the 3ds update in november or something? bc i cant edit my town town anymore (if i try my 3ds won’t turn on and i have to replace the garden.dat file with the old one)

Hello. This is really very late, but if you are still experiencing this issue, you may just make sure you have replaced the garden_plus.dat file in sdmc:/3ds/Checkpoint/saves/. Then make sure to restore the save with Checkpoint. (ACNL 1.5 uses garden_plus.dat, not gardent.dat, make sure you have the correct file name.)
