Incompatibility with Fault Tolerant mode plugin #70

Hi Marcus,

Gapfill is our favourite question type for quizzes. For all quizzes we also use 'Fault Tolerant Mode' plugin.

Earlier for Moodle version 3.0 we noticed incompatibitlity between Gapfill and Fault tolerant Mode. Usually, it didn't display 'Next' button and next page of questions. Even, keeping all questions on same page didn;t help. The workaround was to use select option "Options after text". And it worked nicely in Moodle version 3.0.

Now we are using version 3.8.3. And we are facing same problem again. Tried other combinations in settings but no success so far.

Could you please help us. Without these two plugins together we are completely handicapped.

thanks in advance Manish

What is 'Fault Tolerant Mode'? Do you have a link explaining it. Update: I just found this https://moodle.org/plugins/quizaccess_offlinemode Also.... "select option "Options after text". And it worked nicely in Moodle version 3.0." How strange.

I have experimented with Fault tolerant mode. I have reproduced the symptoms and I have a suspicion as to why it occurs. I do not currently have any solution however.

I am closing this ticket. It seems that Fault Tolerant mode is not actively supported and according to one of the tickets the developer said. "The project for which this was developed only used Essay questions. Other question types, particuarly those that use a lot of JavaScript, may have issues."
