Date Filter Broken? Or is it just me? #800

Closed malevans closed 7 months ago

What happened?

I previously had date filters configured such as "If NextDate is before" etc. etc but these date based options appear to have disappeared and I only have the standard "is empty' Is not empty" etc.

It appears that all my previous filters have been set back to the basic level.

I'm running on v1.17.1 of the plug in and just recently was updated to v1.5.8 of the app.

There hasn't been any update of the plugin recently so I'm wondering if the recent app update has broken something? I didn't notice when this happened so can't align with the app update.

Not sure what additional info might be useful - happy to provide whatever is needed

Appreciate any thoughts.

Cheers

It works for my latest local build here. Not sure that if the field was recognized correctly by Projects. You can check the column icon in Table view. I did come across some problem that date field registered in the front matter can't be correctly recognized immidiately by Projects, and that will limit the filter types.

Thanks for posting this. Please don't hesitate to follow up if the problem persists or there are other causes.

Thanks - must be a local issue here. Seems that the date fields have been reset to text format somehow. I created a new Date field and the filter options are displaying OK.

Looks like I will need to create new fields and manually update 😢 since we can change the field type in the UI.

Happy to have this marked closed.

Cheers
