@cosmojg If we still want to upgrade this computer, can you figure out what SSD this needs so I can order it before the end of the grant year?

Yeah, I found the manual for our mid-2011 Mac Mini. It states, both "Do not attempt to open your Mac mini, except to install memory," and, "Your Mac mini doesn’t have any user-serviceable parts, except the memory," in several places.
Theoretically, we could buy one of Apple's proprietary SSDs and attempt replacement on our own (against Apple's will), but there's a somewhat high chance of failure and the process is a total pain in the ass. Personally, I don't think it's worth the money or the trouble, but I'm willing to give it a shot if anyone thinks otherwise (@klwadland @sg-s).
