Playback without effect #1

Thanks for making this tool available. How would I go about r3D playback, but without the swirling particle effect? Ideally with a control fro particle size. Thanks.

Thank you for using my app!

I think that both of your requirements (i.e. turning off the effect and modifying particle size) can be implemented by tweaking the VFX Graph object. I am not an expert on VFX Graph, but check out the USB live streaming demo — when you open that scene, you will see two objects in the scene; Record3D_Simple_Streaming and Particles.

One of them is a plain stream without any effects and the other one uses the Keijiro's VFX Graph (see the attached image). You can use the plain VFX Graph from the USB live streaming project in this offline project to get rid of the effect.

Thanks, I’ll give it a go. To your knowledge, is there code to playback record3D point cloud on iOS in Unity? This is for an AR app. I also ordered a Lookingglass Portrait, maybe their SDK makes this possible? Best, Volker

I apologize, this project (record3d_offline_unity_demo) is the only code that I have for playback of Record3D's videos in Unity. If you have problems with running this demo on mobile, then please send me an email to support@record3d.app and we will see if we can find a solution together (I think that will be better than solving this via Github Issues).

Regarding Looking Glass Portrait: it will be possible to load mp4 RGBD Videos (exported by Record3D) into your Looking Glass Portrait.
