Use proper button text on notify dialog(s) #20

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download a subtitle
2. Watch the popup box (see screenshot)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I think the prefered word on that box would be 'OK' instead of 'CANCEL' (STOP
is the Dutch translation of it)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v1.0.0

Hi, the problem here is that StreamedMP uses text "Cancel" on the notify
dialog. But that dialog is used all over MePo and it's plugins so this text
cannot be OK for every one of them. As there is no (easy) way I could change
that text from the plugin, preferred way is to hide the button (empty the
text). Dialog will still be closed when:
 * user presses Select-OK (Enter) or Back (Esc) action on the remote,
 * timeout is reached (default is 3 seconds).

I will notify Damien (StreamedMP author). Also I will look into possibility of
changing the text from the SubCentral plugin.

I have used a workaround for changing the button text. All notify dialogs from
SubCentral now have text "OK" on the button.

Fixed in r105

Exactly the same! :) As i was saying, fixed text cannot be the good for every
usage.

But for SubCentral, text will be "OK" even if skin file has something else.
