Moving to new API #3

Opened a new branch SHA: be4268f0829cb25c1dcb7d043d557f428bbe291a to work on this.

There are new features available so will try to add these in as i go.

Decided not to add any features, just replicate the samples in the new API merge to master and then add new stuff. In the process I'm doing some UI work so it looks nicer. Work is 90% done on e2447a3280889e260b128d481bac4a30fc4dbe3c only reportPopUp missing.
