In Issue 91 a new external data-source mechanism was introduced to integrate 
with metadata from external sources.

THe editor currently retreives metadata in debate-records from an embedded 
database (registry.db) by directly making queries to it.

This needs to be changed to make use of the external data-source mechanism from 
Issue 91.
