User State takes way too long (online and offline)

es: en mi cuenta veo que los estados de mis contactos tardan demaciado tiempo 
en cambiar.
me refiero a online y offline

I don't understand. You set it for 5 hours. Are you saying that even 5 hours 
after the last tweet, the user is still online?
