I don't understand what "using the XMPP protocol with identi.ca" means.

From the screen shot, I assume the issue is that the * link at the end is being
included in the message, but I'm not sure what the scenario is.

Can you explain how to reproduce this?

Es: usando una cuenta diferente a la de twitter; poniendo un hash de busqueda #
prpltwtr intenta hacer una busqueda.

En: using a different account to twitter, placing a hash # Search
prpltwtr trying to do a search.

Are you saying that you searched on identi.ca? what does this have to do with
XMPP?

En: identi.ca using XMPP protocol with perfect walking around in PrplTwtr
version 0.7.0, but something happened in PrplTwtr version 0.8.0.

What I am saying that interferes with my account PrplTwtr XMPP

How do you use identi.ca with XMPP? I only know how using http (and either
basic auth or oauth).

Can you send me a link? I may have an idea what caused this, but I'm not sure,
and I'll need to be able to reproduce it.

I'm unable to reproduce this. I've added my identi.ca account to both prpltwtr
and updates@identi.ca via gtalk. I can send myself a message either from XMPP
or from prpltwtr, and it shows up in both windows (prpltwtr and XMPP) without
any corruptions.

Are you using any other plugins that do syntax highlighting? I seem to recall a
conflict once with one of the highlighting plugins.

If not, can you post a full log (or email me)?
