Hi Ben,
Thanks for reaching out and for the suggestions.
We have updated the MBON website to give it a more "global flavour" not long ago. Making big modifications soon will probably not be so easy.
Nonetheless, I do see your point and some things could be better probably without a big effort from those making the modifications in practice.
In my view, it would be great if we could highlight US MBON projects/working group research. If I recall Frank (lopped in) asked US project leaders to visit the website and see how their group could be a better picture there at the 2023 annual US MBON meeting. We did not receive any feedback.
From my understanding of your email this project research topic could be better figured and at a specific tab rather than at the "Data&Products" or "Network"
specific projects ones (probably not so easily findable here).
If people are willing to contribute and we have the "manpower" to make those changes (technically) we can always improve.
Best,
Joana Soares

Hi @7yl4r https://github.com/7yl4r and @soaresjoanasilveira https://github.com/soaresjoanasilveira,
The website structure, aka sitemap or navigation menu, of marinebon.org is more of an organizational chart than topics of general public interest.
It seems to be missing Research topics like eDNA, Seascapes, etc that could then cross-walk to Papers, Products and Projects. OLD
The current navigation menu of the website looks like this...
About Us | The Network | Data & Products | Media | Contact us | JOIN MBON LATEST NEWS AND UPDATES ↓ NEW
What if it could look like this... Navigation

Left: Research | Projects | Papers | Data | Software
Right: About | News | Contact
Research:
- eDNA
- Acoustics
- Telemetry
- Indicators
The working groups populate the content of these Research topics. Link with Tags
