There is a wind rose plugin for grafana here:

One question here is what the input data should look like. A text file with data over the last 24h or 7d? These plots seem to be a good way to summarize past data over a particular time period, which in this case could be a day or a week.

There is also https://grafana.com/grafana/plugins/operato-windrose-panel

Both of these are old and poorly maintained. We may be better off trying to use something more generic like https://grafana.com/grafana/plugins/ae3e-plotly-panel/ which in theory allows the use of any plotly plot (eg wind rose).

The unfortunate reality here is that the grafana community went corporate and left a lot of these open options behind.
