We probably want to break these out into other issues but here are my notes:

change news view to be cards or similar?
FMK+joana : color of MBON logo does not stand out well
- GEOBON join link & header section + the top logo
replace homepage projects sections w/ infographic w/ Amanda
rm projects & presentations sections from homepage
- nav: publications-> academic publications, presentations, ...
dark mode links unreadable
make some products link directly through to external landing pages (eg MBON.us & mbon-dashboards)
reduce padding between things
rm "network structure" in nav & make "the network" page look like "projects" section on homepage. rm projects section on homepage.
