What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to this page http://www.grupoice.com/esp/temas/wcam/trans/wm3.htm
2. Wait while loading the video
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected watch the stream correctly with sound, instead the video works
fine but there is not sound.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gecko-mediaplayer 0.9.8-4.2.x86_64 (Red_Dwarf version)
gnome-mplayer 0.9.8-2.3.x86_64 (Red_Dwarf version)

S.O.: OpenSuse 11.2

Sound works here as well.. does sound work in gnome-mplayer? If not, run

gnome-mplayer -v

And watch the debug output perhaps, there will be an mplayer error message.

please run gnome-mplayer -v from a terminal try a local video file. If the
sound does
not work there, then attach the output to this bug

You need to install the optional mplayer codecs. But I am not sure they are
available
for 64 bit mplayer. So you might need to remove the 64bit version of mplayer and
install the 32bit version. 64bit gnome-mplayer will work fine with a 32bit
mplayer
backend (I do this myself).

Optional codecs are found here, if not part of your available packages.

If I do that, all the KDE goes to the 32bits version (I am using Yast).

You will need to discuss with your packager how you can do that. I know it is
possible to do. May have to force install the RPM.

KDE should not be tied to the version of mplayer. Like I said it is a codec
issue.
And if a 64bit version of that codec is not available then you will not be able
to
play that content using a 64bit version of mplayer.

This is not a problem with gnome-mplayer.
