setting output to x11 solved the problem, but i don't understand, why it does
not
work properly with other settings.

If you have OpenGL support can you try setting the Video Output to 'gl' or
'gl2'.
I've been testing on my laptop that has xv support and I am unable to duplicate
the
issues.

There is also a hidden gconf/.conf file key named 'disable_animation' if you
set that
to TRUE or 1, it may help.

no, this was not helpful. i also thought, this may cause the problem

Can you try svn with the xv output, I have made some changes to the window
settings
and that may help. Also what does 'xvinfo' report. I know there are many issues
with
the intel driver right now. Perhaps you need to select a different xv option.
Also,
do you know what intel chipset you have?

I think I'm getting the same issue, affecting xv, x11, gl, and gl2 output.
Attached are gnome-mplayer -v logs for each of those output settings on the
same
video file, as well as my output for xvinfo.
