progress bar modifies video geometry in full screen #161

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a video file.
2. Switch to full-screen mode.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What I see is the video resizing itself -expanding vertically-, as the
progress bar hides. In my opinion, the progress/control bar shouldn't
modify the video geometry, instead it should pop "on top" of the video
window, without affecting it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using gnome-mplayer 0.9.5 on Debian GNU/Linux.

This has already been discussed, it is a limitation of the way I am doing
things that
I can't do this.
