Some settings are not stored in configuration #395

When i restart gnome-mplayer, following settings are not keeped:
- shuffle playlist
- repeat playlist
- show details
- show spectral analysis

so i have to set them manualy again...

btw there should be some more accessible buttons for first two of them
because one can change those settings very often

Yup, all those are not stored by design...

Suggestions for hot keys for shuffle and loop?

It is very uncomfortable every time set options(shuffle&repeat) from the menu,
but I do not think that is worth doing for them hotkeys. Better to just make
two buttons/checkboxes in the playlists window.

If you are doing this everytime, perhaps all you need to do is alter your
launcher to add --loop and --random to the gnome-mplayer command line.

kdekorte: I do not understand why you do not want to make a quick access to
frequently used settings. Maybe in the options to include the possibility of
preservation of state for repeat & loop

I offered to do hot keys for these "frequently" accessed items. You declined
that option. As for the buttons they could probably be done, but if you are
doing it "every time" I doubt it would be any more convenient.

Preserving the state of loop and repeat is wrong for many use cases, so that is
why I don't feel a desire to save the state of them.

So what do you want?

I added a couple of buttons to the playlist window... try them out and see if
you like them.. r1731

Thank you! So much more convenient and faster. And for Mute by middleclick also
thanks.
