Some suggestions for DVB #456

Because most DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) have to be deinterlanced,
Could you set a way for gnome-mplayer to switch profile at playing DVB ?

such as
click "File" -> "TV" -> ”Open Digital TV”
then gnome-mplayer switch profile from [default] to [Digital TV]

If it's possible,could you add EPG(Electronic program guide) interface,
such as Me-TV.

What does the profile give you? If there are some standard options perhaps they
could be handled a better way.

Some options using by dvb is not necessary for common media.
But it's necessary when playing DVB such as de-interlance.

The Way "playing DVB turn on de-interlance,playing other media(non-interlance)
turn off de-interlance" is not good for everyday using.

The de-interlance option could be on or off over 5 times everyday.

And i also want to use the video filter (crop,scale combined) to scale video
into 16:9 to minimize X stretch only on DVB.

such as
1st picture is 704x480(original),
http://oranqe.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/dvbtstd.png
2nd(761x428) is directly scaled from origin,
http://oranqe.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/std169.png
3rd is crop + scale combined ,but I want to use these filters only when playing
DVB.

Maybe it's good idea to create a new setting tab(just for DVB),but i prefer to
use the profile way.

Currently I put these option in my dvb profile
[dvb]
vo=xv
heartbeat-cmd="gnome-screensaver-command -p"
framedrop=1
fps=29.976
mc=0.05
vf=pp=lb,crop=:416::32,screenshot
af=volnorm=2:0.75,comp
x=740
y=416

sorry i forgot to mention DVB deteil in my country.
There are two mode [480i(704x480),1080i(1920x1080)] for DVB.
the suggestion(crop and scale combined) is just for 480i(704x480) mode.

Thanks for listening my opinon.
