Preferences are not saved #525

What steps will reproduce the problem?
There are two problems. First, the preferences are not saved after close
gnome-mplayer
1. Open gnome-mplayer
2. Change the preferences of subtitle. I tested changing the color and encoding
of subtitles.
3. Close gnome-mplayer and open it again. The preferences are back to default.

The second problem:
1. Start a movie with dual audio and choose the second track.
2. Just open the preferences. It is not necessary you change anything.
3. Close the preferences window.
4. The first track will be selected, instead of the second.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gnome-mplayer 1.0.4b2, with mplayer SVN-r33367 on Linux 2.6.38 32 bits

Please provide any additional information below.
The changes made in the two firsts tabs (player - output audio and video,
language setup ...) are saved. But, the changes made in the tabs Subtitles,
Interface, Mplayer and Plug-ins are not saved.

Most likely if you run gnome-mplayer from a terminal you will see something
about gsettings using a memory backend and the settings will not be saved. This
is a local config issue.
