Auto disable video acceleration when playing 10bit h264 stream #571

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Choose vdpau or vaapi as default video output
2. Open a 10bit h264 video
3. Gnome-mplayer hangs and it consumes a lot of cpu resource

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gnome-mplayer 1.0.4
archlinux 64bit

vdpau and vaapi don't support decoding 10bit h264 stream, it would be better to
auto disable these to prevent some unpredictable errors.

The 1.0.5b1 and later code allow you to toggle the use of hardware
acceleration.
