Subtitles don't show in full screen with video output #635

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install gnome-mplayer on Debian (GNOME MPlayer v1.0.6)
2. Set a subtitle file, and make sure that it shows (check on-screen display
level)
3. Enter fullscreen by pressing F

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I should see the same titles I do when not in full screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Debian Wheezy sid, kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64

Please provide any additional information below.

What VO is set when the do not show?
What version of mplayer are you using?
Do the subtitles work when using mplayer from the command line and you go full
screen?

1. None (blank). That's why I wrote "default".
2. "2:1.0~rc4.dfsg1+svn34540-1+b2". The "2" is the Debian package designation,
fyi.
3. Yes. The defaults for mplayer must be different, some other settings are.

Can you run gnome-mplayer -v from a terminal and attach the output for the case
where it does not work. And then can you run mplayer and attach the output for
the case where it does work. I'm guessing they use different video outputs as
their defaults or there is some error that might be useful.
