Crashes in magazine_chain_pop_head

I'm forwarding bug reports from Debian and Ubuntu again. This time it's a 
crasher in magazin_chain_pop_head which can happen at multiple occasions, e.g. 
while using gnome-mplayer with gecko-mediaplayer in Firefox and while closing 
gnome-mplayer. It'd be great if you could have a look at it.

I believe this has been fixed in 1.0.7. It seems to be caused by a race in the 
shutdown of a GTK application and I believe I have fixed it.
