On wide mobile screens, with full width menu, submenus don't stay open #28

The submenus are frequently automatically closing on touch events when the menu is in the "desktop" mode with a wide screen. I tried Firefox and Chrome on Android. It takes a few touches to get the menu to stay open.

It seems to be related to the code that prevents overlapping menus.
