• Begin at spring-shell

  • chat-shell is used to expose service features via spring shell
  • This app must have some constraints like:
  • single user awareness ( send user token on requests)
  • Connection retry : If I shutdown and restart the server
  • Autodiscovery of the services ( using spring-cloud-discovery )

• 2nd agenda: WEBUI

  • Vaadin is a good start
  • Mock the endpoints using Spring-Cloud-Contract
  • UI will have to login, establish websocket connection
  • Display messages, users data, render images, and react to HTTP status's

• 3rd agenda: ThickApp

  • IOS or Other client app - or just 'electronify' the frontend ( we'd have to use AngularJS ? )

Staying on Spring Shell... Mostly implemented except for connection retry policies. Thats should go into client-core.

RSocketJS is coming together on the front-end, we need to put together an interface, but first to select the UI Framework. This will take some time and is not prioritized.
