Discord audio not working #8

Hey,

I have the latest version of Deckcord installed (v0.3.1-24971bd) and I'm having issues trying to get my mic to work with voice calls.

I have tried using a bluetooth headset as well and it's still not working. Additionally, I have tried downgrading deckcord, changing to a pre-release version of decky, and running steam deck on the beta channel.

No sound during calls or when doing a mic test in settings.

Any advice will be helpful! Thanks!

Audio also isn't working for me, in a weird way: it works in tests, but if I join any voice channel the mic just does not activate and Discord complains about no audio.

still the same here. installed only yesterday. no audio, not even in testing. neither in-build nor headset. screenshare also doesn't get any audio.

Same problem here. Got mic working in voice chat somehow at first launch but then it just stopped working. I hear my voice in test but nobody hears me in voice channel. Screenshare with audio is broken too and it shares screen with low brightness. I used discord in chrome and were so glad when i saw deckcord but i have to switch back. With script for chrome i can share with sound and brightness is OK.

Also experiencing the same audio issue. Tried changing audio inputs and nothing would work. Using version 0.3.2-8b26aa9. Also noting that if discord is downloaded from discovery in desktop mode and added to steam as a non steam game; audio works just fine. Only issue with that version is that voice volume for people in voice channels cannot be adjusted.

recently download this and the idea is excellent and it works fine but for me every time I wake up my steam deck and open the discord tab to enter a voice chat, nobody hear me, I have to go to voice in the setting push the test button hear me a few second and then everyone in the voice chat can hear me.

also sometimes when you enter the discord tab is a black screen with some errors on top, you have to go to decky and reload the plug in

Bumping this. Have the same issue:

  1. Install Deckcord
  2. Sign into Discord
  3. Join a VC

No microphone input comes thru; tested every setting in Voice and Video just to make sure.

This is only a few steps away from being the best SD plug-in...

Bumping this because my mic just isn't working
