front page design #3

I attach a photo of the page I was showing you. The idea of the neat font followed by a handwriting font I thought was done quite nicely on https://www.notonthehighstreet.com/ I'm going to try to give some more specific font ideas tomorrow (Monday)

I think its right that we leave a line for title, logo, identity, contact then have the colour bar a bit thinner and used as a menu as in the picture.

I'm not so convinced (or against) the layout further down the page, but I do like those blocks saying Explore / Discover.

The logo idea is to base on this geometrical symbol shown on this page: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~clauspat/stonea.htm

But the idea is to have a form of it that has been made more soft and subtle. Colours to be defined.

So, after a whole day in front of the keyboard, this is what I've got. I really hope you like it and it provides at least a good point to start. I think it's clear, modern and subtle

Decision to build the WH front pages in CI, building upon existing theme while taking into account the other reference sites. To schedule a design session with Felix to agree page outlines. Felix to aim to use colours from photo shoot to get a realistic look.
