On hold for now. Josh and I feel that this is too big and complicated a list to 
incorporate into our website. The google doc serves the purpose, and phones and 
tablets are changing so frequently. 

tabled for now. much more pressing things to do first.

Hal:  I moved this back off of defer.  As more devices come out, this is going 
to become decreasingly important.  We need to design a way to make this work, 
probably by setting up a way to use this in conjunction with user-supplied 
input.   For an example of this sort of thing (with MANY more devices and 
issues) see http://www.linux-laptop.net/ although probably wouldn't do it in 
that way.
