Putting computer to sleep disconnects X-Touch Mini from X-Keypad #76

You probably won’t want to bother with this issue: this is more as an FYI and perhaps something to be aware of if someone writes about loss of X-Touch Mini connection.

I use X-Keypad both to (1) create a virtual keypad and (2) to link to two X-Touch Minis on Windows 11. If I put the computer to sleep and then reactivate it, the virtual keypad and the second Mini still work, but the first Mini link does not - none of the buttons or encoders work.

The only fix seems to be re-booting the computer - re-booting x-plane does not work.

The Mini’s LEDs are all on, and both show up as active in the “devices” list, so I don’t think it’s a system problem.

Have attached log below.

Many thanks,

I wonder if there is a USB driver power setting that would help with that. It seems the device is not waking up properly. I saw some posts that people using the X-Touch with Axis and Ohs had similar problems after the computer sleeps.

thanks for the tip. checked into "USB driver power setting", though, and decided it wasn't worth messing with that. (can just turn off display instead of sleep, if I want)
