An easy way to do this would be to make the text on the taskbar icon be the
database name.

In windows 7 you don't have any text there anymore :-(

Oh? The way I have mine set up, there is selective text, but also when you
hover over the icon it shows you a thumbnail of the window, and also shows the
form text as like a tool tip. Maybe that is not usual?
If that won't work I will have to think about it some more :-(

The thumbnail + title is shown with me as well for all applications, except for
PicasaStarter when Picasa is started from it :-).

That's odd?? It does in mine. It worked in my PS version that uses Picasa 3.9,
maybe it is something about symlinks? Anyway, I had already put the code in
Mainform to put the database name in the title, so I just committed it to SVN.
We can try to figure it out as we go on, because it works great here in both
Win7 and XP.....Didn't try it in XP German though, maybe I will try that.

Ah... OK, I was running an old version of PicasaStarter, so something changed
the last few months... the better!

I don't see an icon for PicasaStarter once Picasa is running now. I am sure I
did see the icon initially, which is why I made the suggestion about
right-clicking! (I am using Win7 64-bit.)

Just noticed this Issue again. I am going to mark it as implemented because the
label does show up in the taskbar when you hover over the icon, and we have
made the label contain the database name.
Maybe this issue was about running PS from a shortcut?? PS doesn't show up in
the taskbar when run from a shortcut because no window is created when run from
a shortcut. It is just a non-windows application and thus nothing for the
taskbar.
