Seeing Null Values from Hive with Snappy Compression #89

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Import Rows to HDFS
2. Create external table to Hive, loading all the rows (verified)
3. Run a select statement

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Not seeing the data correctly, instead of seeing null values

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? red hat 
linux, hadoop 1.4

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi,

This bug tracker is only for Snappy itself. I'm afraid you'll have to take bugs 
for the Hadoop plugin to whoever makes it; it's unrelated organization-wise.
