Super knowledgeable post! I agree with TS correctness level section, I'm using type TODO = any some time.

BTW did you consider NX as a migrate candidate?
Recently my paid work project decided adoption NX, if you have any information, reputation, impression, rabbit hole etc... I'm glad to tell me about it!
